2 weeks, the countdown begins!

In 2 weeks we will be sitting on the sand, watching the waves rolling in...basking in the sun light, listening to the waves, smelling the salt in the air. Chillin' on the BEACH!! Oh yeah, the next 2 weeks can't go by fast enough to make me happy! Our beach vacations are something we look forward to, and start planning the minute we get back home. Every year we learn new things to do and not do, to pack and not pack, and every year gets BETTER! This is the 3rd year in a row we will be sharing a house with our best friends, their 2 kids, my sister and our niece. 5 adults and 6 kids ages 9, 6, 6, 4, 4, and 2...sounds chaotic, but it really isn't. There are enough adults to manage the kids and the "chores". The house never gets messy and everyone pitches in with the meals and clean up! It is amazing how well we all get along!! This year we are going back to the house we stayed at 2 years ago. It is a great house about 2 blocks off the beach, it is on the canal and has it's own dock. The guys and the kids can go fishing and crabbing from the dock and they REALLY enjoyed that the last time we stayed there. Last year we "sprung" for a pool, and while it was nice, we found out it was not really worth the extra (a lot of extra) $ we spent on it. We didn't really use it as much as we thought we would, so this year we are going back to THE BACKFIN and I honestly think we will probably keep going back to this house.

We all love the beach, and I can't wait! Oh and now there is WIFI so I can blog from there too YIPPEEEE!
